AD-HOC Committees

Ad-hoc committees are occasionally established by the Board President to make recommendations to the Board on special projects or concerns. Since the tasks performed are non-recurring, these committees are disbanded once the final reporting is concluded. Some previous ad-hoc committees have been in the areas of By-Laws, Elections, Enforcement and Long Range Planning. The current ad-hoc committee(s) are:

King Street Committee

The King Street Ad-hoc Committee was established to examine the full range of issues surrounding potential improvements along King Street, including suggestions for landscaping, the possibility of installing sound barriers, options for community activities such as picnics, volleyball, and whether sidewalks should be installed along the street. In the course of its work, the group is expected to consult with the City of Alexandria, Arlington County, and the Virginia Department of Transportation. For more information, please contact:
